What’s your favorite memory with your champion?
We purchase Bart at the 2023 Friday Night Fever from the Falkenstein Family! From the moment we put him in our barn, I knew he was going to be an all time favorite! My favorite memory of him would have to be his first ever jackpot. We took him to a small show in Arizona last summer and when we walked him in the ring as a class 1 prospect goat, the judges eyes immediately went wide and he asked me during his class where he was from and what we planned to do with him! From then on, Bart continued to turn heads wherever he went!

Who has been your biggest inspiration to become the person you are today?
I am lucky enough to say that there are 3 major inspirations in my life! My dad, mom, and sister, Hailey! These 3 have shaped me into the person I have become and have stood as incredible role models in my life! I love y’all so much!

How do you prepare your goats to build up the stamina to last in the show ring?
My biggest piece of advice for building show stamina is consistency! If you consistently practice with your animals, they will build stamina in the show ring and learn to trust you. As a showman, it is extremely important that you gain a relationship with your animals!

How many animals do you have on feed this year?
This past year, my family fed 5 goats for fall majors.

If you could use one word to describe your champion what would it be?
Perfect! Bart was definitely one of the easiest showing goats I’ve ever had the pleasure of raising! He was always on point and never missed a beat at the feed pan!

Did you experience something that didn’t go as planned with your goats? How did you overcome that?
This particular goat went through a very awkward growing phase where he didn’t balance right and gave an awkward eye appeal. But, we were lucky enough that he fed through his awkward phase!

What school do you attend/grade are you in?
I’m homeschooled, and I am a senior in high school

Tell us a little about your champion:
My goats name was Harvey Reginald Spector, from the tv show Suits. And one of the things that made him so special was that he was my last goat ever, and he happened to be a Hidden Treasure!

What has showing livestock taught you?
The value of hard work, dedication, and consistency. The livestock industry as a whole is such a great place to raise your kids, and it will absolutely help them to become better people.

What has been your biggest obstacle you have overcome while showing?
I would say that the biggest obstacle would be learning that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. And that you will have to regroup, keep going, or even sometimes start from scratch.

Whats your favorite part of a goat show?
Watching my Dad and Bryce getting my goat ready is always something I love to watch. And it makes for some pretty special memories.

What do you do to celebrate after a big win?
Call my sister, Aspen.

Do you prefer to show wethers or does?
Wethers, not even close.

What’s your favorite show? and why?
I have a few favorites, but the feeling of walking in the ring in San Antonio just can’t be beat.

Who has been your biggest influence?
Definitely my sisters. Being the youngest and getting to grow up with 3 incredible role models, who  have always pushed me to be my best, been there when I’ve fallen short of my goals, been my biggest supporters (next to my mom), and always reminded me to stay close to God in the midst of every high and every low. Forever grateful that I was blessed with them.

Freshman at Oklahoma State University

Tell us a little about your champion:
Chuck was a goat we bought from Lane and Brody Halfmann in their April online sale. We showed him at the Revival Livestock Show in Merced, California after only having him for 2 days where he won the lightweights and 3rd overall! He also had much success throughout his spring and summer shows! He was one of our many unforgettable barn favorites!

What has showing livestock taught you?
Showing livestock has taught me to always work hard, never shy away from competition, and value the relationships you have with friends and family!

What has been your biggest obstacle you have overcome while showing?
My biggest obstacle I had to overcome was teaching myself to never give up on a goal! I thank my parents and sister for always pushing me to be the best version of myself inside and outside the show ring, and for never allowing me to give up on my dreams & goals!

Whats your favorite part of a goat show?
My favorite part of a livestock show is getting ready for a grand drive! There’s always been something about the adrenaline in the tack areas and ringside that make a livestock show so fun!

What do you do to celebrate after a big win?
fter winning, we like to celebrate by going home and working even harder for the next show.

Do you prefer to show wethers or does?
Wethers!

What’s your favorite show? and why?
My favorite show is the American Royal! Kansas City was my first major livestock show and I have made some of my best memories and met some of my best friends there!

Who has been your biggest influence?
There are so many people to thank for my success in the show ring! My family, for being my #1 supporters and always standing my side! Cooper Bounds and the Bounds Show Team for his dedication and support to my show career! My success wouldn’t have been possible without you! My best friends for giving me the BEST memories and friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life!
