What’s your Goat name? and what made him/her so special?
My goats this name was Rooster. He was the brother to the 6th overall at the Ohio State Fair last year.
Throughout your show career what’s been your favorite Goat?
The 2023 Grand Champion at the Ohio State fair was my favorite goat so far.
What’s your favorite show? and why?
My favorite show is Kansas City American Royal because I get to see my friends from all over the United States.
How do you stay focused on reaching your goal?
Work hard everyday, don’t skip days working the goats in the barn. My mom says to win you cannot have the “i’ll do it later” attitude. I also have all of my banenrs in my bedroom and that is a daily reminder to stay focused.
Who has been your biggest influence?
My biggest influence is my late uncle, Jordan Fledderjohann. He was by far one of the most influential people in the goat industry. He set high standards in the goat instustry and has molded it into what it is today.
The goats that have won the Ohio State Fair the last 2 years were both raised by goats that are part of the Fledderjohann Show Goat herd, which was started by Jordan.
Jordan won the Ohio 7 times in his show career. It means the world to me that I can continue to show goats and win the Ohio State Fair to continue to keep his legacy alive.

How many years have you been showing? Do you show any other species?
This is my third year showing goats. I tried showing pigs once but did not like them near as much as the goats.
Other hobbies besides showing livestock?
Hunting, fishing, riding the 4-wheeler and playing flag football.
Best stock show memory:
Having 3 out of the 6 goats in the final drive at the Ohio State Fair but winning Grand Champion tops them all.
Tell us about your recent champion:
His name was Jester and he weighed in at 83 pounds. He was the Middleweight Champion.
What is one word that describes the feelings you had stepping foot into the Grand Drive?
